Detour Simple Protein Bars (18 Count) for $4.97 @ Costco [YMMV]

Check your local Costco to see if they have these in stock. At mine, they are on clearance for $4.97 per box, which is an excellent price (regular price is around $18). With this deal, you’ll be paying 27.6 cents per bar.

15 grams of protein, 6 grams (Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Almond) or 3.5 grams (Chocolate Chip Caramel) of fat, 3 grams of sugar. No artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols (stevia is used instead). Enjoy!

Direct Link

Normal price is around $6. Subscribe & Save to get free shipping and a 5% discount, bringing your price down to $2.85.

If you subscribe to 5 or more items, your total discount will be 15% rather than 5%. And lastly, there is a 10% coupon you can clip, but I believe it can apply to one subscription only.

[Amex Offers] New Amex Offers for Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Nike, and More…

amex offers

A few of these deals can be added via Twitter, which is the simplest and fastest method. I’ve been planning on writing a tutorial on this but haven’t gotten around to it yet. If you’re familiar with the process, the hashtags to use are below.

Otherwise, all of these offers can be loaded onto your card by logging into your American Express account and checking your Amex Offers at the bottom. Make sure you open each account in a separate tab before adding any of these offers if you want them on multiple cards.

$25 off $250 @ Best Buy (Expires 9/5/16)

Hashtag: #AmexBestBuy

Purchase can be online or in-store. Best Buy sells gift cards to other retailers, including Amazon (Kindle).

$5 off $25 @ Bed Bath & Beyond (Expires 9/5/16)

Hashtag: #AmexBBB

Purchase can be online or in-store. Bed Bath & Beyond sells Amex, MC, and Visa gift cards. You can do a split-tender purchase and pay $25 per credit card.

$15 Off $75 @ Nike (Expires 9/5/16)

Hashtag: #AmexNike

$20 Off $50 @ (Expires 10/15/16)

Might be good for regular purchases of grocery-type items. They had forever stamps for sale before, but those are OOS now.

Other Deals

There are other discounts being reported such as $20 off $100 at Macy’s, $15 off $50 at The Body Shop, etc. The ones I posted above are the most interesting and profitable, in my opinion, but you can check your American Express account to see them all.

Pampers/Huggies Diapers for >50% Off @ Target (In-store)

Target has multiple discounts/coupons that can be stacked for a really good deal on diapers. Ends 7/9/16.

  • $25 gift card with a $150 purchase of select baby items. Text COZY to 827438.
  • $10 gift card with purchase of 2 select Huggies, Luvs, Pampers, GoodNites and Pull-Ups diaper packs.
  • 10% off Huggies, Luvs, Pampers, GoodNites, or Pull-Ups diaper packs via Cartwheel (limit 4)
  • $2 off Pampers/Huggies diapers at (print up to 2 per computer, maximum 4 per household, cashier might not enforce limit)
  • (Optional) Extra 15% off if you have a baby registry coupon
  • (Optional) Extra 5% off if you have a Red Card

You need to purchase in-store to use both the Cartwheel discounts and the manufacturer coupons.

I ended up buying 6 boxes of Pampers Swaddlers Diapers Super Packs for $24.99 each. To get over $150, you can add a small filler like Honest Company Wipes – 10 Count for $0.99. I didn’t have a baby registry coupon or the Red Card discount. Here is how my math worked out before tax, valuing the Target gift cards as cash:

$150.93 (6 x diapers + 1 x wipes) – $25 gift card – $30 gift card ($10 x 3) – $10 (Cartwheel) – $12 (6 x $2 coupon) = $73.93, or $12.32 per box.

The baby registry coupon is not supposed to stack, but you can try if you have one. The Red Card discount will make this deal a little sweeter too. You should be able to do this with Huggies or Luvs as well.

[Amex Offers] 10% off Gas up to $250 (Targeted)

You can add this deal to multiple credit cards if you have the offer available on more than one account. Make sure you open each card in a separate tab before adding it to any of your cards.
